I saw this in a report from Korea, and it says the first thing getting Samsung solid-state batteries is a Galaxy Ring. It’s dropping in late 2025—like October or December—so it might be the Galaxy Ring 2 or even 3, depending on when the next one comes out. After that, Samsung’s putting these batteries in earbuds by the end of 2026, and then smartwatches by late 2027. No word yet on phones, though, which is a bummer.
What’s the Catch?
Here’s the thing—Samsung solid-state batteries sound awesome, but they might make stuff cost more. The first Galaxy Ring wasn’t cheap, and these new batteries are trickier to make, so the price could jump even higher. Still, if they’re safer and last longer, maybe it’s worth it, right?
