The military said some of the injured were soldiers getting treatment at the hospital. They called it a mean and planned attack by Russia, adding it to the list of awful things they’ve done since the war started in 2022. Kharkiv’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, said one person was found dead under a pile of broken stuff. He counted 27 people hurt in total. One drone even started a fire at an office building.
The regional governor, Oleh Syniehubov, said a 15-year-old girl was among the 25 injured, and she’s in bad shape. Prosecutors told a news channel called Suspilne that 30 people got hurt. Pictures showed rescue teams in safety gear digging through the mess, with twisted metal and broken bits all around.
