The results for the IIT JAM 2025 exam are out! IIT Delhi announced the results today, March 18. If you took the exam, you can check your results on the official website: jam2025.iitd.ac.in.
To see your results, you’ll need to log in using your enrollment ID, email ID, and password. You’ll also have to solve a simple math question (Captcha code) to prove you’re not a robot. If you’ve qualified, you can download your scorecard from March 24 to July 31. The scorecard will show your all-India rank.

- Click on the link that says ‘JAM 2025 result declared’.
- Open the JOAPS portal link.
- Enter your Enrollment ID or Email ID and password.
- Solve the math question and type the answer.
- Click ‘Submit’.
- View and download your result.
If you’ve qualified, you can apply for admission through the JOAPS portal from March 26 to April 9, 2025. If your application has any issues, it will be marked as invalid, and your name will be listed on the JAM website by May 8.
The first admission list will be out on May 26. If your name is on the list, you’ll need to pay the seat booking fee by May 30. If you change your mind and want to withdraw, you can do so between June 7 and July 7. There will be four rounds of admissions to fill all the seats.
The JAM exam is used for admission to programs like M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech), M.S. Research, and other dual-degree courses. Over 2,000 seats are available across various colleges. The exam was held in around 100 cities in India.
The test was conducted in seven subjects: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, and Physics. A merit list will be made for each subject based on the number of seats available in different categories.
